Audio on Your Bankruptcy Canada Webpage

Audio is the latest way to bring you closer to the people who will provide you with new business! We are offering you the opportunity of placing a compelling audio message on your BankruptcyCanada Webpage; and it is FREE!

The following are some actual voice recordings:

How to place your Audio Message

  • Send us a .wav file:
    • If you already have a .wav file email it to us and we will place it on your webpage. If you have done any TV or Radio advertising the audio was probably recorded in the .wav format. That being the case your advertising contact will be able to email the .wav file to us;
  • Record your own .wav file;

    • Required: A microphone (Note: 1), and a sound card in your computer;
    • How to Record: Assuming you have a Windows operating system do the following:
      • From your browser go to: Start (bottom left of the screen) | Programs | Accessories | Entertainment | Sound Recorder;
      • The settings should be (File | Properties): PCM 8.000 kHz, 8 Bit, Mono. Don't use a higher stereo setting as this is just a waste of band width and will NOT result in a better quality audio;
      • Click on the Red button on the sound recorder and record your message. The size of the .wav file should be about 600KB or less in size for a 60 second message.

        Note: 1
        - I get good results with a Samson CO1U microphone which I purchased in April of 2007 at a music store. The cost was $95.00. You should also have a stand for the microphone. If you are getting "Noise" when you use words starting with a "P" putting a sock over the mike will often cut out the "Noise".  Alternatively a "Baffle" can be purchase to reduce this "noise".

Rules:

  • Please keep your message to approximately 60 seconds or less for the following reasons:

    • If it longer than that it is boring and people will click away;

      Shorter messages load quicker;

    • Sound uses a tremendous amount of band-width and we wish to conserve.
