We'll Help you Explore all your Options for a Fresh Financial Start
There are several options available, depending on your situation.
You can contact your creditors and explain why you are unable to make your payments and ask them if they would agree to your making lower payments over a longer period of time.
You could apply for a debt consolidation loan with a lending institution. They may require that your pledge some of your assets as collateral or that you obtain a co-signer for the loan.
Credit Counselling services are also available.
If you do not have complicated financial affairs, i.e. you owe less than $75,000.00 excluding the mortgage on your residence, you may wish to make a Consumer Proposal under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act.
If your income and assets are insufficient to repay your debts you may wish to consider filing an Assignment in Bankruptcy under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act.
There may be other options available to you, however so that you can make an informed decision in the alternatives you should contact me to review your financial situation and explain fully the options available to you. |
